Steel That Absorbs
Our Smith Volvo Cars team was surprised to learn that Volvo S60's body consists of boron steel, one of the hardest types of steel in the world. In addition to this, the boron steel frame panels and door sides boast energy-absorbing padding that absorbs and dissipates crash energy, making it less likely to transfer to the bodies of passengers.
Collision Avoidance Tech
Called City Safety, this feature detects other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and large animals in proximity as you zip through San Luis Obispo. It issues audible and visual alerts as well as brake pulse warnings to help you avoid collisions. If a collision becomes imminent, City Safety brakes automatically.
A test drive at our dealership today is the best way to experience Volvo S60's incredible safety features in person. Why not come down? We'd love to meet you.
