The tires on your vehicle provide an adequate grip on the road while you're driving. You want to make sure that the air pressure in your tires is at a proper level at all times. While you can check your pressure on your own, your vehicle also has a tire pressure monitoring system that will alert you when levels are either too low or too high. This can occur for a number of reasons.
You may have overfilled your tires when you last checked them. This isn't a good idea, as you could be putting your tires under stress. This could cause a tire to blow out the next time you're driving.
You may not have enough air in your tires. This can occur from regular driving, you could have a hole in one of your tires or the change in temperature outside could have changed your tire pressure levels.
