Central console
There are two main storage compartments in front of the gear stick. The pocket to the right contains a 12v power outlet and USB ports for charging your phone, tablet or other digital devices. The larger tray below the central air vents is also a good place for you to keep your phone and other belongings.
The Volvo XC40 has an 8" touch-screen infotainment system that allows you to control the car's navigation, media, and climate functions with gestures such as swiping and tapping (if you're old-fashioned, there are also more traditional buttons). The system has been designed to be intuitive and easy to use. For example, swiping down from the top of the screen minimizes it. Swiping up from the bottom reopens it.
